Top Communication Apps in Latvia: Q4 2024 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of the leading communication apps in Latvia showed varied trends across downloads and revenue, as reported by Sensor Tower.

WhatsApp Messenger, published by WhatsApp LLC, experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter. Starting at approximately 2K downloads, the app peaked at 4.3K in the week of December 23. However, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Telegram from Telegram FZ-LLC showed consistent revenue generation, with figures fluctuating between $9.9K and $14.7K. The app's downloads also increased, reaching over 3.8K in the final week of December.

DNS Firewall, released by CERT.LV, saw a significant rise in downloads shortly after its release, peaking at 10.9K in early December.

Snapchat from Snap Inc. maintained steady weekly revenue, peaking at $5.2K in mid-December. Downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 2.5K.

Messenger by Meta Platforms, Inc. had modest revenue figures, with a peak of $55 in mid-October. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a peak of 2K in late December.
